I have a chronic condition, dysplasia in the cervix. I participated in the Pap smear campaign at the CHUL (in Quebec City) in October. Three months later I was seeing by the gynecologist because the results were abnormal. Three months after that I had a LEEP procedure done. In my opinion, it was impressively fast.
Also, last year while I was at work, I injured my knee, but I did not have the RAMQ card yet, so I just took pain killers. I did not know about the CNESST back then and until I was able to see a doctor, I didn’t realize it was a serious injury (ACL). I was prescribed X-rays, MRI, and seen by the ortho in less than 6 months.
